Mercado De San Miguel | Madrid, Spain

I just got back from a road trip through Spain, eating and drinking my way through Madrid, Cordoba, Seville, Malaga, Granada, and Valencia.  One of my favorite places to eat for lunch, which we did 3 different times, was the Mercado De San Miguel.  This old iron building houses some of the tastiest markets, food and tapas.  Upon arriving, first thing first.  Grab a nice glass of wine and find a seat. Then fill your table with an assortment of tapas including sundried tomato and cheese stuffed olives, toasts topped with salmon or tuna or cheese, fried calamari, squid, croquettes, ham filled sandwiches, oysters, paella and more.  This place is a culinary feast and quite the party.

And now to my personal favorite.
