The Marquis | Cabo San Lucas

We finally found our way back to Cabo after the hurricane last September.  We tried a new hotel because our usual is still not open.  We arrived a few days after the Marquis reopened and practically had the place to ourselves.  Only 16 rooms out of 235 were occupied.  As you can imagine, we had unbelievable service and the food was great.

The Fishermen of Cabo San Lucas

On our recent trip to Cabo, we tried our hand at a little fishing.  We had no luck whatsoever but got a close up of the beautiful arch.  Actually, I didn't mind not catching any, being a vegetarian/pescatarian and all.  It's a little hard to see that beautiful marlin being brought in. The catches above were from another boat and fisherman with a greater expertise!!!

Una Vez Más, Por Favor

Summer may be over but it didn't feel like it in Cabo, until the heavy rain came pounding down.  Just a few photos before we made our escape.

The Skinny Margarita and Cabo

No one makes a better margarita than the One and Only Palmilla in Cabo, Mexico.  Here is my recreation and some shots of Cabo, just to put you in the sipping mood.

  • 2 ounces Don Julio Silver Tequilla
  • 2 ounces Controy
  • 3 limes
  • Shake it up and pour over ice with or without salt
