In the shadow of the Seattle Space Needle is the Chihuly Garden of Glass. This glass museum showcases the work of Dale Chihuly, a Washington State born glass sculptor. His work has been exhibited all over the world.
The museum opened in 2012 and consists of 3 parts, the garden, the glass house, and the interior exhibits. My favorite is the shot above, with the Seattle Space Needle looming over the glass house. Amazing exhibition.

Earth Day at Alegría Farm
The other day was Earth Day and a day to spend at Alegría Farm. I first posted on the farm last summer and it is more beautiful than ever. Spring has burst into full color at the farm. Edible flowers, beautiful greens and rare herbs are just a few of the culinary delights you can enjoy. Located at the Great Park in Irvine, California, Alegría Farm features innovative earth-kind solutions to urban agriculture. You can read more about the farm here or here.

The Getty Villa and Gardens
J. Paul Getty opened a gallery, in 1954, right next to his home here. The villa is filled with Greek, Roman and Etruscan antiquities and is surrounded by gardens.
