Chihuly Garden of Glass | Seattle

In the shadow of the Seattle Space Needle is the Chihuly Garden of Glass.  This glass museum showcases the work of Dale Chihuly, a Washington State born glass sculptor.  His work has been exhibited all over the world.
The museum opened in 2012 and consists of 3 parts, the garden, the glass house, and the interior exhibits.  My favorite is the shot above, with the Seattle Space Needle looming over the glass house.  Amazing exhibition.

The Adamson House in Malibu is in the National Register of Historic Places and is a California Landmark.  The house was built in 1930 and it's interior is filled with the most beautiful tile work.  They would not allow me to photograph the interior which was quite disappointing because it was unbelievable.  What a house and what a view.  Magnificent.

Earth Day at Alegría Farm

The other day was Earth Day and a day to spend at Alegría Farm.  I first posted on the farm last summer and it is more beautiful than ever.  Spring has burst into full color at the farm.  Edible flowers, beautiful greens and rare herbs are just a few of the culinary delights you can enjoy.  Located at the Great Park in Irvine, California, Alegría Farm features innovative earth-kind solutions to urban agriculture. The Getty Villa and Gardens

Spent the other day at the Getty Villa in Pacific Palisades overlooking the ocean, which you cannot see in these photos because it was very overcast.         
J. Paul Getty opened a gallery, in 1954, right next to his home here.  The villa is filled with Greek, Roman and Etruscan antiquities and is surrounded by gardens.

The Fishermen of Cabo San Lucas

On our recent trip to Cabo, we tried our hand at a little fishing.  We had no luck whatsoever but got a close up of the beautiful arch.  Actually, I didn't mind not catching any, being a vegetarian/pescatarian and all.  It's a little hard to see that beautiful marlin being brought in. The catches above were from another boat and fisherman with a greater expertise!!!
